AlienG

Terms of Service

Last updated 10 September 2026

1Agreement

These terms are between you and AlienG Company. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use AlienG.

2What AlienG is

AlienG is a bookmarking service. You save web addresses, organise them into tabs, and open them from any device you sign in on. You can share a tab with other people, either by inviting them or by creating a link.

The service is provided free of charge. We may change what it does, add features, or remove them.

3Your account

You need an account to save bookmarks. You must give a valid email address and verify it.

You are responsible for your account. Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has access, change it, or contact us at contact@alieng.com.

One person, one account. Accounts are for individuals. Do not create accounts on behalf of others without their knowledge, and do not create accounts automatically.

You must be 18 or over to use AlienG.

4Your content

Your bookmarks are yours. We claim no ownership of what you save. We store it so we can show it back to you, and so we can show it to people you deliberately share it with.

You are responsible for what you save. Do not use AlienG to store or share:

We can remove content that breaches these terms, and we can suspend or close accounts that do so repeatedly or seriously.

5Sharing

You can share a tab in two ways, and they behave differently:

Inviting specific people. They see the tab in their own account. They can view it, but they cannot change your copy.

Creating a link. Anyone who has that link can see the tab, and your name, without signing in. Treat a share link as public. Do not put anything in a shared tab that you would not want a stranger to see.

You can revoke any share at any time, and revocation takes effect immediately. Anyone who copied bookmarks into their own account before you revoked keeps their copy — a copy is theirs, not a window into yours.

Reporting. If you find a shared link that breaches these terms, tell us at contact@alieng.com.

6The Public tab

AlienG shows a curated set of popular websites on its Public tab. These are chosen by us. Their inclusion is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for what those websites contain or do.

7Acceptable use

Do not:

We apply rate limits. Working around them deliberately is a breach of these terms.

8Availability

We try to keep AlienG running, but we do not promise it will always be available. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue it.

Please keep your own copies of anything important. Settings → Import / Export produces a file containing your bookmarks. We take backups for our own operational purposes, but you should not treat AlienG as your only copy.

9Ending your use

You can leave at any time. Settings → Account Settings → Delete account removes your account and its contents permanently.

We can suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use of the service creates a risk for us or for other users. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

If we discontinue AlienG, we will give account holders reasonable notice and an opportunity to export their bookmarks.

10No warranty

AlienG is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties.

11Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data, or for loss of profit or opportunity arising from your use of AlienG.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use AlienG after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you rights that cannot be excluded by agreement, nothing here removes those rights.
